EMPIRE STATE BUILDING is now 3rd tallest building in usa and 22nd tallest building in the world. Now the tallest is consider as burj khalifa located in Dubai.
The EMPIRE STATE BUILDING is also considered as the American culture icon. Actually it was designated as a national historic landmark in 1986. It was the number 1 rank in the list of Americans favorite architecture according to the AIA.
EMPIRE STATE BUILDING consist of 2800 investors .EMPIRE STATE BUILDING is currently undergoing a $550 million renovation with $120 million spent in an effort of transforming the building into more energy efficient and Eco friendly.
Actually the site of empire state building was 1st developed by john Thompson farm in 18thcentuary.
The empire state was designed by William f. lamb. The construction was a part of a severe competition in new York for the title of world’s tallest building.
